Every Cool Detail We Spotted In The Massive 26-Minute GTA 6 Gameplay Trailer

Grand Theft Auto 6 GTA 6 Netflix Rockstar Games

Today was the big day. Rockstar Games pulled back the curtain and showed off nearly 30 minutes of gameplay of its upcoming release Grand Theft Auto 6 , which is still set to launch on November 19 on Xbox and PS5. And buried in all that gameplay were some smaller details we spotted, including new wildlife never before seen in a GTA game and plenty of clues indicating that GTA 6 will play a lot like Red Dead Redemption 2.

So here are 16 small, cool, and interesting details we spotted in the new GTA 6 extended look.

RDR 2 s context menu for interactions is back

We knew GTA 6 was going to play more like Red Dead Redemption 2 than its GTA predecessors based on previous leaks, but the Netflix Extended Look really hammered that point home. Youll be able to interact with characters and animals, including dogs, via a small context-sensitive menu that appears in the lower right part of the screen. This is the same way RDR 2 handled interactions, and it seems mostly unchanged in GTA 6.

Jason and Lucia can visit strip clubs together

For people worried GTA 6 was going to limit how much fun you can get up to, heres some good news: Yes, you can visit strip clubs. And it appears you can do so as a couple.

Weapons now have brands and model numbers

Another detail pulled from Red Dead : Weapons in GTA 6 will feature brands, model numbers, and more. We can see this when Jason grabs a shotgun from the floor that is named Moreland 850 Shotgun.

Enemies can be killed or just incapacitated

As Jason and Lucia fight their way out of the apartment at the start of the Extended Look, we can see that after killing someone, the reticle flashes red. However, during this fight we also see it flash yellow. This seems to be our first look at how the game lets you incapacitate people without killing them.

Later on, we see Jason slow down time and aim at an enemy, and different points on his body are colored red and yellow, which seems to further indicate that youll be able to avoid killing folks if you want in some firefights.

Jason and Lucia get sweatier as they fight and dance

Throughout the extended look, we see Jason and Lucia getting sweaty while doing different activities, including lifting weights, dancing, and shooting.

Stealing cars is now more involved

In past GTA games, stealing a car was easy. Youd rip the person out or break the window, and that was it. In GTA 6, however, stealing cars is more involved. Youll have to jimmy locks open and complete a small mini-game to do so. We also know that some cars will have trackers and others will need their key fobs cloned.

You can turn lights on and off and check the fridge for snacks

As Jason walks around Lucias apartment, a pop-up appears that implies youll be able to turn lights on and off. We also see him checking the fridge for food and drinks. It seems GTA 6 will be filled with small ways to interact with the world.

The minimap now shows 3D buildings

Unlike past GTA games, which used a 2D-only radar, GTA 6 seems to feature 3D buildings on its mini-map. This should help when navigating vertical spaces. Also, it looks cool.

Gruppe-Sechs, Sprunk, and other classic GTA brands spotted

Some classic GTA brands are back in GTA 6. In Jasons fridge, we see Sprunk and eCola cans, featured in past GTA games like GTA IV. We also see an armored car owned and operated by Gruppe-Sechs, a security firm seen in GTA V. I also spotted a logo for Fleeca, a credit card and bank company first seen in GTA V and GTA Online.

You can hold hands

I love this detail. While hanging together, Jason and Lucia can hold hands. I assume you can only do this when the two have romantic feelings for each other, something the player can affect during gameplay.

Realistic birds and manatees

You can spot various wildlife in Netflixs extended look. My favorites include two angry birds fighting on a sidewalk and a small pod of manatees swimming slowly through the swamps of Leonida.

Backflips!

At one point, Jason leaps off a pier and into some gorgeous-looking water. As he flies through the air, he does a backflip. This looks like a gameplay moment and not a cutscene. Will you be able to backflip whenever you want? Could lead to some silly clips.

Changing clothes out in the world

Before entering a store to rob it, the player uses the weapon wheel to flip over to a different wheel filled with clothing and other items. And here, they put on a mask. It seems youll be able to change your look on the fly using this wheel, like in RDR2 .
