To "obtain the identity" of GTA 6 leaker, Rockstar parent Take-Two subpoenas Microsoft and Discord as yet more gameplay footage is posted

But while Cyberleek was perfecting its business scheme with its sixth untimely gameplay reveal, Rockstar parent company Take-Two was sharpening its knives; the owner has filed multiple subpoenas requesting Microsoft and Discord assist it in learning Cyberleek's true identity by providing user information.
Kotaku reports that Take-Two says in one subpoena filed with the Southern District Court of New York on August 20 that it's issued its Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) subpoena with the express purpose "to obtain the identity of an alleged infringer or infringers, and that such information will only be used for the purpose of protecting Take-Two's rights."
Both Microsoft and Discord have until September 4 to come up with internal records related to Cyberleek, says Take-Two, including Discord "account ID, registration email, registration and last-login IP addresses, phone number, linked connections ( Google /Xbox/etc.), any associated device identifiers (MachineGuid/MSA), and content related to Grand Theft Auto (GTA), Rockstar or Cyberleek from their OneDrive account."
The company is checking every bed and closet for Cyberleek, making several Discord servers part of its investigation, including CYBERLEEK itself and the server for DarkViperAU, a popular GTA 5 YouTuber . In the meantime, GTA 6 hopefuls on Reddit are complimenting the fidelity on the roadside Cyberleek recently revealed.
